How it works
- Your browser keeps a copy of the site. With no internet, pages and tools open from that copy.
- The installed app downloads everything by itself the first time it opens. In a browser tab, use the button above.
- Compress PDF needs a large engine, so it is a separate choice. Without it, Compress PDF needs the internet once; every other tool works.
- Without the download, the tools you open are still kept, one by one.
Updates
A new version downloads in the background the next time you are online. Only the files that changed are fetched, and each one is checked against the list published with that version. The copy you have keeps working until the new one is complete. When a new release is out, a note in the corner offers to reload; smaller updates take over quietly the next time you open the site.
Remove it
The button above removes the copy from this browser. Your favourites and settings stay. To uninstall the app:
- Chrome or Edge on a computer: open the app's menu (⋮), then choose Uninstall.
- Safari on a Mac: remove it from the Dock, then delete it from the Applications folder in your home folder.
- iPhone or iPad: press and hold the icon, then choose Remove App.
- Android: press and hold the icon, then choose Uninstall.
